QuickCare @ Tannenbaum is for established patients of the practice. QuickCare is intended to make it easier and faster for established Tannenbaum patients with an urgent medical problem to make an appointment and get prompt medical attention. QuickCare will provide Tannenbaum patients who are in good standing with: Easy access to a special phone operator who is authorized to schedule urgent appointments with all of the Tannenbaum providers; Tannenbaum's commitment to see an established patient on the same day (if the patient calls before 2:30pm) or before 12:30pm the next day (if the patient calls after 2:30pm); Tannenbaum's commitment to seeing patients promptly who have an urgent medical problem means that QuickCare patients will be scheduled with the first available provider.
The appointment will not always be with the patient's personal physician. If the patient's personal physician is not available, then a QuickCare appointment will be made with another provider at Tannenbaum. QuickCare is not designed for patients needing a wellness exam or preventive care or for the evaluation and treatment of patients with chronic or complex medical problems. These issues are best handled by your regular physician at Tannenbaum. To make an appointment with your personal physician to address any of these medical issues, please call 336-274-3241 and ask to talk with that physician's secretary.

The QuickCare operator will take your call unless she is on the line with another patient. If the operator cannot take your call, she will call you back within 30 minutes if you leave a voicemail message with your name, phone number and date of birth. We look forward to serving Tannenbaum patients with urgent medical problems through our same day QuickCare program.
